| Baptism Usually offered the second full weekend of each month (except during Lent). Parents and Godparents are expected to attend a preparation class prior to the celebration of Baptism. Contact Father Chris for Spanish or Jo Sowieja for English to make an appointment. |
| First Communion/First Reconciliation For Children within the Faith Formation Program, preparation for reception of these sacraments is accomplished within the Grade 2 curriculum. Contact the Faith Formation Coordinator, Colleen Budin, for more information. |
| Confirmation Catholic youth are confirmed in the spring of their 10th Grade year. Preparation is completed within the Faith Formation Program. Classroom preparation takes place during Grades 8 & 9, and youth perform service projects and become further involved in the Church during Grade 10. |
| Marriage Marriage guidelines are strictly followed. The requested date will remain tentative until all preparation requirements are satisfactorily |
| Anointing of the Sick Communal Anointing of the Sick is offered annually during a Mass in the Spring. Individual anointing is offered for anyone facing serious illness, major surgery, or close to death. Please contact the Parish Office. |
| Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults If an adult has not been baptized and wishes to become a full member of church wishes to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church, classes are offered in the Spring and Fall of each year. New members enter the Church on the Third Sunday of Advent or at the Easter Vigil. Contact the Pastoral Minister, Jo Sowieja, for more information. Note: Adults who wish to be confirmed in the Church should follow the RCIA process. Any student or adult who did not have the opportunity to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion, First Reconciliation, or Confirmation) during the year normally set aside for these sacraments may still receive these sacraments after a one-on-one or small group preparation process. | Rite of Christian Burial At the time of loss, we wish to work closely with the family to make this process as meaningful as possible. We ask that the funeral director chosen by the family please contact either the Pastor or Pastoral Minister, Jo Sowieja, so that we may make plans for the reviewal and/or funeral liturgies with the family at a time convenient for them. |
